Ross Harries

As presenter of Scrum V Live and the Sunday evening magazine show, "Scrum V", Ross Harries is the face of the BBC's rugby coverage in Wales and appears regularly on BBC's Six Nations, both as a presenter and pitch side reporter.

Prior to that, Ross Harries was a presenter and reporter on Wales' most-watched news programme BBC Wales Today, and also worked as a reporter on the BBC's news channel.

Born in Llantrisant, Ross went to school in Llandrindod Wells, and went on to study journalism at Cardiff University. Ross completed the postgraduate diploma in Broadcast Journalism in 2006.

In between, Ross Harries spent several years seeking rock n'roll stardom, helping his band win a national Band of Britain competition in 2006.  After getting his fill of late nights and long journeys up and down Britain's motorways in a transit van, Ross decided to get a proper job! Initially Ross worked as a reporter for the BBC's "Wales on Saturday" sports programme, before moving to the news department.
