Samuel Morris

Samuel Morris is an 18 year old student training at the Guildford School of Acting (GSA). Sam attended Ysgol Gyfun Y Strade where he was the Head Boy.

Locally, to great acclaim, Sam played the roles of 'Marius' in Les Misèrables School Edition by SA15 Stage School, Teen Heart Throb "Link Larkin" in TPF's Hairspray production and 'Jean Valjean' in Mark Jermin's Stage Schools production of Les Misèrables at the Gwyn Hall, Neath. Sam Morris also played the role of 'Delme Thomas' in 'GRAV' an original musical by Nia Griffith and Tudur Dylan Jones that follows the life of Welsh great Ray Gravell.

Sam is in demand as a guest soloist and memorable performances have included at the Made in Wales Film Premier and Awards Night at Wales Millennium Centre Cardiff, in concerts and events for the Royal British Legion, in the annual Loud Applause Productions 'Night with the Stars' concerts alongside famous names such as Connie Fisher, Shan Cothi and Mark Llewelyn Evans, in the 2014 Ty Hafan Youth Gala at Swansea Grand Theatre and in the 2015 Carmarthenshire Theatres St David's Concert with Treorchy Male Choir. Sam has been guest soloist at the invitation of Pendyrus Male Choir, Lleisiau Cwm, Kidwelly Festival Choir, Cor Y Gyrlais and the Cancer Challenge Singers in Neath.

Sam Morris has also made Television appearances on S4C's presenting on the channels prime time magazine talk show "Heno" and has also performed on the afternoon magazine programme "Prynhawn Da".

In July 2014 Sam won the Nations Hits Swansea Bay Young Achievers Performing Arts Award and also was nominated for The Andrew Lloyd Webber Award.
