Lorraine King

Lorraine has devised a one woman show especially catering for cabaret style performances at theatres and in function suites, bringing an extra dimension to after dinner entertainment.

Her show is full of humour, poetry and music which have an extremely broad appeal. She also works with a band called Quuba who write inspired Latin styled pop music and Celtic Cross a folk rock band who aim to create an exciting atmosphere of fast moving fun wherever they play.

In 1994 she formed a writing collaboration with Tim Hamill, Dave Parsons and Paul Gregory and went on to win the Song For Wales competition on S4C and the Song competition at the Pan Celtic Festival in Ireland that same year.

In September last year an appearance on BBC's Songs of Praise aroused so much interest in Lorraine that an unprecedented invitation to appear on the advent show alongside Daniel O'Donnell followed.

Lorraine has since appeared on network television on a number of occasions which is an indication of just how much her music is making its mark.
