Stuart's broadcasting career followed
his highly successful career in rugby, having played rugby union for
Swansea; Wales and the Barbarians between 1984 and 1998. With Swansea
RFC he represented Wales 17 times and was vice captain. He is also
a keen golfer and fly fisherman. After his
forced retirement from rugby in 1998 with a neck injury, Stuart
embarked on a career in broadcasting, commencing with the BBC. He
was invited to be a regular guest on the television programme, Scrum
V and later co-presented the programme. He also worked on numerous
BBC Wales's radio programmes and BBC Wales's television.
Earlier this year Stuart was invited by HTV to co-present
their flagship rugby programme 'The Front Row'. He is now well established
on this programme and, due to its high profile, is very much in
demand as an 'after dinner speaker'. He has also acted as master
of ceremonies at many prestigious events. |
