Originally from Aberaeron, Ceredigion, Chris started his career as a cameraman, working all over Wales, Europe and the world for clients as diverse as BBC, S4C, The weather channel, Malaysian TV, ZDF and many many more. He has also been responsible for filming and directing a number of different programmes and promotions for S4C and various and numerous clients including WTN, ZDF, Saudi TV, Welsh Tourist Board, Welsh language board, Ty Hafan, WWF, Welsh Assembly, Taste of Wales, Motor Neurone Disease Association, NCH, Chinese Tourism board and the Welsh National Opera.

Chris joined the weather presentation team at S4C in the summer of 1991 and nineteen years later, Chris continues to enjoy the daily challenge. 2011 will be his 20th year as a weather presenter.

Chris lives by the coast in the Vale of Glamorgan. His interests include trekking, kayaking and surfing, volunteer and charity work, gardening, learning to play the drums and learning Italian......and of course, the weather, especially extreme weather, his dream is to travel to America to follow tornadoes!

Chris is a regular contributor on Radio Cymru/Wales and his hosting/MC work includes work for Cazbah PR, Sustain Wales, Welsh Marketing Institute, URDD, Ty Hafan, The Welsh Assembly and Strata Matrix. He has also conducted media lectures with Swansea University and presentation skills and interview techniques courses for various clients.

His main topics of interest are weather, sustainability, environment and climate. He has strong educational links with weather and climate related curriculum topics and has a wealth of experience within the Welsh media. He is 100% bilingual.
