Jonathan Hill

Jonathan has been the main news anchor for ITV Wales for more than a decade and is a very familiar face for Welsh viewers. With over fifteen years of broadcasting experience he is a highly accomplished live performer both in the studio and on location.

Jonathan is also an award winning journalist and in 2001 he was named Welsh Journalist of the Year for his work with the flagship news programme 'Wales Tonight' and the current affairs series 'Wales This Week'.

In 1996 Jonathan won a BAFTA Cymru for his 'Wales This Week' report on the Tooze murder investigation. He has also presented and produced a number of documentaries, including 'The First Fifteen' which was shortlisted for an ITV News Award in 2007.

For the last eight years Jonathan has been presenting the hugely popular series 'Crime Secrets' which explores the untold stories behind some of Wales' most notorious crimes.

On the lighter side Jonathan has shown his versatility as guest presenter co-hosting Red Dragon FM's breakfast radio show. Last year he co-presented 'Britain Sings Christmas' from the heart of Cardiff. Cool under pressure, always polished and professional Jonathan has hosted a number of high profile events including 'Christmas Presence' at the Wales Millennium Centre and 'Welsh Designer Awards' at the Vale of Glamorgan Hotel. Jonathan is also the regular host of the annual Welsh Political Awards.
