Zakhyia was born in Kashmir and raised in the Midlands and as the oldest of 7 children she is well equipped to handle a whole range of challenges and personalities.
Lured by the siren call of Wales across the English/Welsh border, she studied at the prestigious University of Wales, Aberystwyth, as an undergraduate and postgraduate in the late 90's.
She has worked in a range of sectors across the UK, being based in London for some of her early career. She returned to Wales in the early 2000's to work for a short time in Tregaron, before moving down South and taking up the mantle of civil service. She is a fulltime Project Manager with a specialism in complex change management and major procurement projects. A high calibre professional, she is both qualified and experienced in her chosen field and is currently pursuing her MCIPS qualification in purchasing.
Since her return to Wales, she has been involved in amateur dramatics and taken parts in TV favourites Dad's Army, Dinner Ladies, the Vicar of Dibley and many a Norman Robbins' play. She is currently learning to play the piano and has a passable singing voice, having performed as part of a choir in her youth and during the course of her musical studies.
She is fluent in English and her native language Mipuri, as well as French; she is also learning Welsh as a beginner. Over the course of her many years in Wales she has developed a highly convincing Welsh accent, fooling many into believing she is a 'died in the wool' native within her adopted country of Wales.
Zakhyia is 32 and resides in Port Talbot. She is 5' 8" weighing 10 stone 8 lbs; she has black hair and dark brown eyes and her nationality is British Asian.
